I am always "digging" stories on Digg, a site where you can submit technology-related stories and "digg" the ones you like. If you decide to join you should get used to the many terms from Digg. Check it out to stay up to date with technology and gaming.

If you have ever played Super Mario 64 or Super Mario 64 DS then you'll know about Princess Peach's castle and the 3D levels. Click here and you can explore the castle and other levels from a birds eye view. It's really amazing. Make sure you have Shockwave installed for this to work propely and give it a bit of time to render.

I have come across YouTube many times. I first came across it late last year when one of their videos was embedded into someone's website. Now, whenever I see a video of something it is most likely on an embedded YouTube player (or sometimes Google Video). YouTube is one of my favourite sites for videos. It's easy to use and the videos are in Flash (meaning no opening Windows Media Player or QuickTime). YouTube seems to keep on growing. It has recently beaten Flickr (a digital photo sharing website) according to Alexa.

If you have any personal videos you want to share why not consider uploading them to YouTube? It's all free.

Current Music: Babyface - You Were There

This past month I have watched some great films on DVD and UMD. Here's my favourites this month (see all of them at IMDb):

  1. Simon Birch
  2. King Kong (2005)
  3. Anna and the King
  4. Super Size Me
  5. Pay It Forward
  6. Me and You and Everyone We Know
  7. Hitch
  8. Of Mice and Men (1992)
  9. *batteries not included
  10. Are We There Yet?
SImon Birch was a real funny and sad film. Does God have a plan for us? I recommend this film to anyone. You'll be sure to laugh and feel sad (especially towards the end). The song "You Was There" by Babyface is a really nice song for the film. I am always listening to it, in fact, right now as I am typing this blog post. King Kong I purchased on UMD format (for PlayStation Portable) as it was on offer. Originally saw this at the cinema in December. Great film - well done to Peter Jackson. I was expecting some special features on the UMD like the DVD but there were actually none. The case annoyed me as it says "2 Disc Edition" which makes it sound like it has extra stuff but it didn't. It was just the movie going over to the second disc. Anna and the King I have watched on television (but not fully) so I rented this out. Super Size Me I had been meaning to watch (forgot about it) and now I finally did. Puts you off McDonalds a bit though. Pay It Forward was a recommendation suggested by The Internet Movie Database so I rented that out as well. It was a good film too about a boy who has a special scheme to "pay it forward". Remember, I have more films to watch - so I will tell you about them soon.

Welcome to my new blog. Hopefully, I should stay put now. I previously used MSN Spaces as my blogging platform. You can view my old blog (first posted in December 2004) if you like.
